I am back on the move again! Largely because of a heavily discounted business class ticket and the fact that Mabel relocated to Adelaide, I am now sitting at the airport in Perth waiting for my connecting flight.

Despite a chaotic pre-board screening and visa checking at home, I had the dream flight. Probably one of the best cabin crews ever, superb food and a thoroughly decent companion in the chair next to me. Clearing custons in Perth was every bit as lengthy as seen on tv, with 3 flights arriving at once. On my form, I ticked and declared everything…just in case. So Mabel….your spices and peaceful sleep are on their way! I was not even asked to show Ina Paarmans finest!

I will be in Adelaide for a week, then a short roadtrip to Melbourne to catch up with old school friends and my varsity smoking friend,..Trevor. From there 5 days in Tasmania, a weekend in Sydney and then back to Perth for two days before I fly home.

I am sure that the next week’s blogging will be a bit haphazard….my previous experience with Heid’s is…we ate, we laughed, had asthma attacks and then laughed and snorted more. Then we snoozed. However, I believe that Heidi has finally learned to cook….so I am looking forward to being fed instead of having to do all the catering. Oh where is Mohammed now…Mabel it is gonna be odd seeing you without our friend around!

If you saw my FB post, as I opened my door to leave home..a frikken monster rainspider was lying in wait. Aaargh…so had to dispatch him pronto, I just knew he had 47 cousins he would invite over….so spidey met his maker!
